Marianhill is a faith based, not-for-profit organization that provides long-term care, community support services, palliative and hospice care services. Marianhill is accredited with Exemplary Standing. We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Part-Time Adult Day Program Aide until October 2026.
Day Program Aide
In conjunction with the Coordinator of Adult Day Service, the Day Program Aide will assist in planning, implementing and evaluating a varied, creative activity program for community clients attending the Day service. Such duties are performed in accordance with Marianhill’s Mission Statement, established policies and procedures, current legislation and in a manner that respects the uniqueness, dignity, worth, self-respect, self- determination and independence of the client.
 QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or a related discipline (i.e. diploma in Social Services Worker or Gerontology) is required. A University Degree is considered an asset.
- Experience working with the elderly, particularly those with Alzheimer Disease or related dementia is required.
- Valid class G drivers’ license is required.
- Oral and written proficiency in English is required.
- Oral and written proficiency in French is considered an asset.
- Excellent attendance is essential.
Hours of Work:Â Â To be discussed.
Rate of Pay:Â CUPE 2764 Collective Agreement, hourly $27.81-28.60 + 14% in Lieu of Benefits and 4% in Lieu of Vacation.

Please note proof as per Marianhill policy of required vaccinations, including but not limited to influenza, etc., is required as well as proof of a 2-Step Mantoux TB Skin Test dated within the last year with a current updated 1-Step. You will be required to provide an original, clear vulnerable sector criminal record check dated within the last 6 months and be able to sign a declaration at time of hire. Education certificate, diploma or otherwise must be provided to the Employer and you must participate in the Annual Influenza Program and N95 Mask Fit Testing Program as applicable.
