We are growing our team at Marianhill in response to the new Fixing Long-Term Care Act.  Therefore, we are increasing the number of staff to assist with this growth in our organization. As a result, we are recruiting for a Casual or Part-Time Community Residential Program Worker (CRPW) – Eganville or Petawawa.

Marianhill is a faith based, not-for-profit organization that provides long-term care, community support services, palliative and hospice care services. Marianhill is accredited with Exemplary Standing.

Community Residential Program Worker

Under the direction of the Community Services Manager the Community Residential Program Worker (CRPW) performs all duties involved in the provision of client care.  Such duties are performed in accordance with Marianhill’s Mission Statement, established policies, procedures and current legislation and in a manner which respects the uniqueness, dignity, worth, self-respect, self-determination and autonomy of the client and promotes maximum independence.

Qualifications

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Food server training required.
  • Experience independently providing care in a geriatric and dementia care community setting is considered an asset.
  • Experience working in a computerized health care setting is considered an asset.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English is required.
  • Oral and written proficiency in French is considered an asset.
  • Excellent attendance is essential.

Wage: $27.81-$28.60 per hour + 14% in lieu of benefits.

Please note proof as per Marianhill policy of required vaccinations, including but not limited to influenza, etc., is required as well as proof of a 2-Step Mantoux TB Skin Test dated within the last year with a current updated 1-Step. You will be required to provide an original, vulnerable sector criminal record check dated within the last 6 months and sign a declaration at time of hire. Education certificate, diploma or otherwise must be provided to the Employer and you must participate in the N95 Mask Fit Testing Program as applicable.
