Manager of Recreation and Volunteers
I manage Marianhill’s recreation department, ensuring the physical, intellectual, social and emotional domains are in place for the benefit of our residents. I also manage the restorative care department in order to promote and maximize the independence of our residents.
Since volunteers are very important to our organization, coordinating high school, college and university placements is also an important part of my job.
I host private tours of Marianhill for potential new residents and their families/advocates. I also oversee the staff offering physiotherapy and hairdressing services
I love the variety of roles that my job provides. I’m able to implement new ideas and opportunities for our residents. I enjoy meeting new faces and sharing the wonderful environment that we provide whether it be to live, work or volunteer.
