Part Time Dietary Aide

Skills and Abilities:

• Must have the ability to work in an environment which is subject to hot and cold temperatures.
• Must exercise good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must demonstrate concern and interest in the well-being of the residents.
• Must have the ability to be tactful, friendly and extremely patient when interacting with residents.
• Must have the physical capabilities compatible with the current physical demands analysis for this position.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 education is required.
• Completion of Food Service Worker certification course is an asset.
• A current certificate in the Food Handler Certification Program offered by the Public Health Department is required.
• Experience in a Food Service environment is required.
• Oral and written proficiency in English is required.
• Excellent attendance is essential.

Hours of Work:   Varied.

Rate of Pay:   As per CUPE 2764 Collective Agreement, hourly $24.92-$25.72 +14% in lieu of benefits.
