Full Time Coordinator of Assisted Living
Marianhill is a charitable long-term care facility located in the beautiful Ottawa Valley. We provide specialized care for 200 Long-Term Care, Complex Continuing Care as well as a 3 bed Hospice Palliative Care unit.
Marianhill is currently seeking a Full Time Coordinator of Assisted Living Services Reporting to the Manager of Community Services, the Coordinator of Assisted Living Services is responsible for the provision of support services for seniors in Petawawa and Eganville. This position involves responsibility for: Client assessment, implementing and monitoring personal support services, staff supervision, client support, administration and communication. Such duties are performed in accordance with Marianhill’s Mission Statement, established polices, procedures and current legislation in a manager which respects the uniqueness, dignity, worth, self-respect, self-determination and autonomy of the client and promotes maximum independence. Qualifications: Ø Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario is required. Ø Current CPR certification is considered an asset. Ø A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a management/supervisory role in Community Services field is required. Ø Experience in geriatric nursing, client assessment such as interRai CHA, Health Links Coordinated Care Planning and dementia care is an asset. Ø Oral and written proficiency in English is required. Ø Excellent attendance is essential.
